Within a safe, supportive environment that encourages sharing and honesty, Coaching Good participants can explore their challenges and unique capabilities in one-on-one and group sessions, while gaining valuable life skills and trusted resources to break down barriers, build confidence, and launch meaningful careers."
But here’s the problem:
When people have troubled pasts or complicated circumstances, they’re often labeled as “unemployable” or “damaged goods”.
Whether they’re transitioning from incarceration, foster care, or homelessness, escaping domestic violence, or struggling with mental health or substance use, society has a tendency to cast them aside.
So, they feel stuck – powerless to break the cycle.
At Coaching Good, we believe every human deserves a chance to reach their potential.
By coming alongside, we have seen these men gain the life skills they need to launch meaningful careers, so they can move forward in life and make a positive impact in their home, neighborhoods and their local communities.

Unemployment rates among vulnerable populations in California are a staggering 20%-50%.
And half of inmates released from prison are incarcerated again within three years.
Together, we can help people get unstuck and equip them to move forward into a meaningful future.

At Coaching Good, we take satisfaction in the fact that our work is funded by donations from passionate people who strive to assist us in creating positive life changes, as well as from grants from private foundations which support our values.
Our self-sufficiency is crucial for us to be extremely effective in our campaigning work, so we use it as a basic principle that guides our entire fundraising.
